Review for DragonBall FighterZ
I am always pumped to play a new Dragon Ball video game. I must admit, I struggled to play the two Dragon Ball Xenoverse games b/c the controls were difficult and unresponsive. This time around, DragonBall FighterZ has made game play simple and easy to manage.
DragonBall FighterZ plays much like Capcom vs Marvel. Basically it is a 3 vs 3 tag team fight geared towards online play. There is a story mode that will take 8 hours give or take to defeat that allows you to level up your character and gain perk bonuses.
The story line of DragonBall FighterZ centers around a female antagonist known as Android 21 that is leader of the Red Ribbon Army. Android 21 has stolen all of the Z fighters powers, and she has created clones to take over the world. The only down side to the story mode is that it seems to end around the time Goku and Vegeta started training with Beerus to go SSJ Blue.
Who knows where the story will evolve with DLC's that are already rumored to be released. I know Goku Black and Hit are suppose to come to the game some how. When I play the game, I feel like something is missing. I feel like the game is not fully developed.
Overall, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a change of pace for the series and capitalizing on the online gaming trend. It's a solid fighting game that will present a challenge to button mashers like myself. I won't be bias and say I wanted more single player. This game is really designed for online game play. I say with more characters Dragon Ball FighterZ should achieve its goals. Right now, the game isn't fully developed. I have to give it 7 out 10. When the DLC's are released, I will come back and update the score card for my rating.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 122 - Final Chapter of the Arc Begins
Well after the show took a break to celebrate New Years, the broadcast will resume on 1/6/2018. Looks like we are down to the last two teams. Universe 7’s fan-favorite folks–Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Android 17 and Frieza– are ready to save the day again. They’ll go up against the remaining members of Universe 11–Toppo, Dyspo, and Jiren–in the final arc in this particular story.
I have to admit, I got caught up in the idea that there were multi-universes with characters just as strong as Goku and Vegeta. Each character had his or her own move set. We saw a lot of gender battles on this series that I felt showed the turned around the stereotypes of Dragon Ball such as making women weaker or more a joke than serious fighters. With the female Saiyans like Kale, we saw that female fighters can be strong and threat just like any fighter.
My question is will any of this be carried on into the real show since it is an arc. Dragon Ball Super has been locked into a series of tournaments for about 70 episodes, so it would be great to wrap this arc up and get back to a real story line again.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 122
Well if you are like me, then you were anticipating seeing Vegeta become stronger than Goku this week. Sorry to disappoint you, but there will not be an episode of Dragon Ball Super this week.
The show is off for the New Year, and Dragon Ball Super 122 will air on January 6, 2018. I hope this episode will be worth the wait b/c it's really been two months of fillers episodes. Goku needs to use his ultra instinct and Vegeta too inorder to be Jiren.
Have a Happy New Year peeps.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 56 Super Saiyan Rose Goku?
When the Z fighters confront Black Goku, something odd is in the air. Immediately, Super Saiyan Vegeta charges Black Goku to prove he is the best fighter and do what Goku can't which is kill a threat to peace. Vegeta becomes concerned as he realizes his attacks are not hurting Black Goku.
At this point, Vegeta falls back to re-evaluate Black Goku's abilities. As expected, Black Goku unleashes his new stronger form, Super Saiyan Rose. SSR Black Goku thanks Goku for showing him how to gain more power to rival a god. In an instant, Vegeta is cut down by an energy sword attack to the heart by SSR Black Goku. Goku turns Super Saiyan Blue and tells Trunks to take care of Vegeta.
Goku and Black Goku fight intensely until Black Goku hits the crap out of Goku to prove he is in another class of strength. As the show wraps up, Black Goku poses to do a kamehameha to end Goku's life, then Zamasu shows up in the sky and lands beside Black Goku!
The whole time we thought Black Goku and Zamasu were the same person. Now we know Black Goku is someone completely different, but Zamasu reveals he does harbor hatred to humans and plans to kill every human especially Goku. Wow! Told y'all it was an epic turning point for the series.

Toei Animation Begins Production on Dragon Ball Super
Drawn From a Plot By The Brand’s Original Creator, Dragon Ball Super Is The First New Series In
Eighteen Years
TOKYO (April 28, 2015) – Toei Animation has announced production on Dragon Ball Super (Japanese title; tentative for English release), the first all-new Dragon Ball television series to be released in 18 years. Following the recent events of the hit feature film, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, Dragon Ball Super will debut in Japan in July 2015.
Reuniting the franchise’s iconic characters, Dragon Ball Super will follow the aftermath of Goku’s fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain earth’s fragile peace. Overseen by Dragon Ball’s original creator, Akira Toriyama and produced with Fuji Television, Dragon Ball Super will draw on its historic past to create a bold, new universe welcoming to fans and endearing to new viewers.
Introduced as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump (published from SHUEISHA Inc.) in 1984, Dragon Ball has evolved into a globally beloved brand. Seen in more than 70 countries, with over 230 million copies of its comic books sold, Dragon Ball remains one of the most popular anime series of all time.
“Having loved Dragon Ball since childhood, it is very exciting to be a part of this project,” said Osamu Nozaki, producer for Fuji Television. “Mr. Toriyama has developed a plot that’s not only a dream come true for Dragon Ball‘s millions of fans, but one that will foster in a new generation of viewers.”
“When I joined Toei Animation, one of my first assignments saw me working on the production of Dragon Ball Z,” said Atsushi Kido, producer for Toei Animation. “While there for only a short period of time, being a part of the series left a lasting impression. We look forward to carrying on Dragon Ball‘s tremendous legacy, bringing audiences a brand new Dragon Ball with the same sense of heart and commitment that went into past Dragon Ball productions.”
“I’ve used the word ‘cho’ (super) in so many commercials, games and other media, it is fantastic that the long awaited Dragon Ball Super will finally begin,” said Masako Nozawa, Japanese voice actress of Dragon Ball’s Son Goku, Son Gohan and Son Goten. “I hope that this series will last a long time and have the same impact around the world as its predecessor.”

DragonBall Z: Revival Of 'F' (2015)
For those of you who are like me and didn't know...There is a new Dragonball Z movie coming out entitled "Dragonball Z: Revivial of F".
The new villain will be a fan favorite: Frieza. From the trailer we see Frieza has been revived and stronger than ever. The movie will take place after the Buu saga and following Goku's ability to transform into God Super Saiyan.
A brief trailer was released with some screen shots, and we can see Beerus is with the Z gang, Each Z fighter has (Bills) Beerus or Whiss, the God of Destruction, symbol. So, we know that each Z fighter is trained and stronger. The only questions I have are: who revived Frieza and why is he stronger than the Z fighters?
