Dragon Ball Super Episode 122 - Final Chapter of the Arc Begins

Well after the show took a break to celebrate New Years, the broadcast will resume on 1/6/2018.  Looks like we are down to the last two teams. Universe 7’s fan-favorite folks–Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Android 17 and Frieza–  are ready to save the day again. They’ll go up against the remaining members of Universe 11–Toppo, Dyspo, and Jiren–in the final arc in this particular story.

I have to admit, I got caught up in the idea that there were multi-universes with characters just as strong as Goku and Vegeta.  Each character had his or her own move set.  We saw a lot of gender battles on this series that I felt showed the turned around the stereotypes of Dragon Ball such as making women weaker or more a joke than serious fighters.  With the female Saiyans like Kale, we saw that female fighters can be strong and threat just like any fighter.

My question is will any of this be carried on into the real show since it is an arc. Dragon Ball Super has been locked into a series of tournaments for about 70 episodes, so it would be great to wrap this arc up and get back to a real story line again.

Dragonball Z Resurrection of F movie Tickets on Sales

FUNimation Entertainment announced today that tickets for "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" are now available for purchase via www.dragonballz.com. The new feature film will screen in more than 1,000 theaters across the United States and Canadafrom August 4 – 12, 2015. The theatrical event, with an approximate 105-minute run time, will feature a special 15-minute pre-show featuring Dragon Ball Z trivia and cast interviews.

"Last year's phenomenal fan response to Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods resulted in sold out theaters across North America," said Gen Fukunaga, CEO and founder of FUNimation. "For Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' we've expanded our theatrical distribution to more than 1,000 theaters to meet fan demand, but it wouldn't surprise me if theaters sell-out again.  This movie is visually stunning and offers even more action that Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods."

As a special bonus for the next two weeks, each fan, who purchases tickets to "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" and attends either Anime Expo or San Diego Comic-Con, will receive a complimentary collectible Goku or Frieza phone charm* imported from Japan by simply showing proof of ticket purchase at the FUNimation Entertainment booth at either convention.

"We're excited to be bringing Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' to so many theaters across North America this coming August," said Mike DuBoise, COO of FUNimation. "With more theaters, more action, and the brilliance of series creator Akira Toriyama on the big screen, this limited engagement will be an epic Dragon Ball Z experience that fans of all ages across the U.S. and Canada will not want to miss."

DragonBall Z: Revival Of 'F' (2015)

For those of you who are like me and didn't know...There is a new Dragonball Z movie coming out entitled "Dragonball Z: Revivial of F".

The new villain will be a fan favorite: Frieza.  From the trailer we see Frieza has been revived and stronger than ever.  The movie will take place after the Buu saga and following Goku's ability to transform into God Super Saiyan.

A brief trailer was released with some screen shots, and we can see Beerus is with the Z gang,  Each Z fighter has (Bills) Beerus or Whiss, the God of Destruction, symbol. So, we know that each Z fighter is trained and stronger.  The only questions I have are: who revived Frieza and why is he stronger than the Z fighters?

The release date for DragonballZ: Revival of F is April 18, 2015
