The Division - 3 Tips to How To Level Up to 25 in 6 hours

I must admit for $15 The Division is a great game.  I'm late to the movement for this game, but I came at the perfect moment.  From what my co-op partners tell me, the new DLC just hit and new content is available for the first time for everyone. That being said, it's a new game for everyone 2 years after it's release.  I'll get straight to the point and not tease you.  Here is how you can level up to 25 in 6 hours.

1.  Make friends with a high level player - I want to stress this more than anything. You can level up fast by co-op with higher level players b/c the experience you get from complete missions on their level will jump your level up anywhere from 1 to 5 levels.  I rolled with someone level 30 when I was level 5.  In 2 hours, I was level 18. 

2.  Optimize your gear - I really didn't pay attention to this, and that was the reason I died quick.  Try to get your toughness and DPS at least to 10,000 and have all your armor gear at least at 75.  Watch what mods you get b/c some will give you resistance and bonus that will give you a real advantage.

3. Don't go into the Dark Zone alone - I don't care if you're 1 or 30, you'll never defeat the dark zone alone.  I had people betray me in the dark zone and steal my loot, so be careful who you partner with as well.  Folks are sick and sadistic in the DZ.  The DZ is worth it, b/c you can get rare gear in there that will give you an advantage early on.

I hear a lot of  hard core video gamers brag about spending real money/cash to get rare cache's and unlock features in the game.  I don't see the point when you can get to the same levels with a little extra effort or intelligence. Remember, it's expensive to be dumb.  Don't spend cash to get an advantage with the Division when you can exploit the game mechanics.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date and All You Need to Know

I was on a forum discussing remakes of old games and highly anticipated games coming out.  I was shocked to acknowledge that it has been almost 10 years since Kingdom Hearts 3 was suppose to be released.  Along with the remake of Final Fantasy 7, Square Enix really have been slow  with the development of its best sellers.  I did my research on Kingdom Hearts 3 to find all the information about what to expect as well as a release date time frame for you all. 

What is Kingdom Hearts 3?

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the third numbered entry in the crossover series, blending the worlds and characters of Disney, Final Fantasy and other renown properties into an utterly surreal action-adventure. You will once again play as Sora alongside his best friends Donald and Goofy as they travel across various worlds interacting with beloved characters in epic battles and cute, personal stories.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Story – What’s it about?

Kingdom Hearts 3 takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, with King Mickey and Riku hunting after the remaining Keyblade wielders. Sora, Donald and Goofy, on the other hand, are busy in pursuit of the Seven Guardians of Light across a myriad different worlds. All of this is being done in a passionate attempt to stop Master Xehanort’s evil plan first alluded to in previous games.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will begin immediately after the ending of Dream Drop Distance, acting as the penultimate chapter in the Dark Seeker Saga. We’d be here all day if we tried to decipher the entire Kingdom Hearts timeline. There have been so many spinoffs, sequels and side projects at this point it can be difficult to determine where exactly Kingdom Hearts 3 lies in the bigger picture.


Kingdom Hearts 3 Worlds – What’s been confirmed?

Kingdom Hearts 3 will introduce a number of original locations alongside a slew of Disney-themed locales. Tangled and Big Hero 6 are two of the properties confirmed thus far, with favourites based on Hercules already scheduled to return in the sequel. Since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2, Disney has acquired Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar. Unfortunately, many of these won’t appear in KH3 due to existing licensing deals, such as the agreement concerning Electronic Arts and Star Wars.

The Purpose of Titans and All 9 Shifter Titans Revealed - Attack on Titan

Purpose and History Titans

Over 1,800 years ago, Ymir Fritz discovered the "source of all organic material", or made a deal with the Devil, and gained the power of the Titans. The Eldia Restorationists believed that she used the Titans to build bridges, roads, and cultivate barren lands.  After she died 13 years later, her "soul" was split and passed down unto nine inheritors.

All Titans are originally humans of a race of people called the Subjects of Ymir.  Ymir was the first Titan, gaining the power of the Titans after locating the "source of all living matter", although Marley claims she made a contract with the Devil.

Subjects of Ymir being injected with Titan spinal fluid.  Subjects of Ymir become Titans after being injected with Titan spinal fluid, triggering a near-instantaneous transformation.  This is exploited by Marley after the Great Titan War, who turn undesirable Subjects of Ymir into Titans to use for war, or at Paradis Island to roam aimlessly beyond the Walls.  Titans oftentimes bear strong resemblance to their original human bodies, though women who are turned into Titans lose most feminine body features.

9 Shifter Titans

The 9 Shifter Titans are fragments of Ymir Fritz's soul.  Humans who inherit them have the power of the Titans, which enables them to transform into their inherited Titan at will, gaining its special abilities while retaining their human body and intelligence. A human with the power of the Titans has access to advanced Titan abilities, such as focusing regeneration to specific parts of the body to increase the healing rate. Answer to Why Titans Eat Humans Revealed - Attack on Titan

When I first watched Attack on Titan, my first impression was this show is very traumatizing and mysterious.  For a whole season, we were left with the impression that humans were shut in a walled off fortress in order to hide from giant Titans that only exist to eat humans.  As I watched the Anime and read the Manga, I started to piece together the reason why Titans only eat humans.

I watched the show paranoid that there was no way to stop these monsters that can be over 120 meters tall (393 feet).  Over time, humans captured Titans and research unlock the mystery behind Titans.  One fact that scientist discovered about Titans was Titans not needing to eat in order to live.  Titans use sunlight to live or for energy.  Also, Titans do not have a digestive tract.  When Titans eat humans, human body parts stay inside the Titan.  That explains how Eren was eaten alive by the Titan and survives on episode three.  After an encounter with Ymir, we learned more about why Titans eat humans from her experience as a Titan.

Ymir is the Jaw Titan.  We learned that Ymir was homeless Eldian girl that lived the streets of Marley.  For some reason, Ymir was made leader of a cult.  The authorities found the cult and punished the cult by injecting them with potion that turned them in mindless Titans that roam the outside the Maria Wall for 60 years.  One day, Ymir rose from the ground to attack a group of children humans.  Little did she know, one of the kids Ymir was the Jaw Titan, Marcel Gilliard.  By devouring Marcel. Ymir gained his powers and regained her humanity.

Hange Zoe speculates that this may be one reason Titans instinctively seek to devour humans and transformed intelligent Titans.  Later in the manga, we see Ymir transfer her Titan powers by "letting" Porco Gilliard eat her.  This confirms that Titans eat humans for the purpose of gaining the shifter power and return to being human. 

Review for DragonBall FighterZ

I am always pumped to play a new Dragon Ball video game.  I must admit, I struggled to play the two Dragon Ball Xenoverse games b/c the controls were difficult and unresponsive.  This time around, DragonBall FighterZ has made game play simple and easy to manage.

DragonBall FighterZ plays much like Capcom vs Marvel.  Basically it is a 3 vs 3 tag team fight geared towards online play.  There is a story mode that will take 8 hours give or take to defeat that allows you to level up your character and gain perk bonuses.

The story line of DragonBall FighterZ centers around a female antagonist known as Android 21 that is leader of the Red Ribbon Army.  Android 21 has stolen all of the Z fighters powers, and she has created clones to take over the world.  The only down side to the story mode is that it seems to end around the time Goku and Vegeta started training with Beerus to go SSJ Blue.

Who knows where the story will evolve with DLC's that are already rumored to be released.  I know Goku Black and Hit are suppose to come to the game some how.  When I play the game, I feel like something is missing.  I feel like the game is not fully developed.

Overall, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a change of pace for the series and capitalizing on the online gaming trend.  It's a solid fighting game that will present a challenge to button mashers like myself.  I won't be bias and say I wanted more single player.  This game is really designed for online game play.  I say with more characters Dragon Ball FighterZ should achieve its goals.  Right now, the game isn't fully developed.  I have to give it 7 out 10.  When the DLC's are released, I will come back and update the score card for my rating.

Eagles Win Super Bowl 41 to 33

Nick Foles won the Super Bowl with the same team that he left 3 years ago.  That goes to show that the problem was not the player, the problem was the manager that couldn't develop talent and know how to use the skillset of his team to win.  Well, I did not see this coming: the New England Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles!  This is the first Super Win for the Philadelphia Eagles. The final score was

For the NFL history buffs Patriots vs Eagles is a rematch from Superbowl XXXIX where the Patriots won 24 to 21. This year things turned out differently.  The Patriots was behind in every quarter of this game, never taking the lead.  For some reason, starting Cornerback, Malcolm Butler, did not play in this game due to coaches decision.

With an injured hand, Tom Brady threw for 505 yards, which is a record, but it was not enough to overcome destiny.  I do not know if the Patriots were celebrating too early, but they did not have an answer for the Eagles well managed team.  To be honest, it was a dog fight and the Patriots did not have an answer for the hay maker blows the Eagles dished out.

The Eagles played as a solid well managed team, but a lot of credit has to be given to Nick Foles. Foles was drafted by the Eagles in 2012.  He had a good start taking over for NFL Michael Vick.  In 2015, out of the blue, Nick Foles was traded to the Rams for an injured Sam Bradford and draft pick.  This was the beginning of the end for Foles career.  Foles lost the start Quarterback on the Rams and became a back up for the Rams and Chiefs.

In 2017, Foles was free agent, signed to a 1 year deal to back the Rookie star Carson Wentz.  The Eagles went on a championship run to clinch a bye week as the top seed in the playoffs.  In week 14, Carson Wentz went down with a season ending ACL tear injury.  Nick Foles was named the started and took the team to win a Super Bowl Championship. What are the odds?  Nick Foles was tossed aside by a bad manager, and he came back to win the team a championship.

As a long time Eagles fan, all I can say is Fly Eagles Fly!  Nick Foles what a hell of a Quartback, from traded to another team to Super Bowl MVP.

The Four: Battle for Stardom Conspiracy

I was catching up on some of the popular shows on air before re-run seasons start.  I was watching Fox's The Four: Battle for Stardom, and I saw a shocking episode that really upset me. 

The Four: Battle for Stardom is hosted by Sean Combs (Diddy), DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, Charlie Walk.  On last week episode, 2 out 3 contestants were unseated.  The moment that shocked me the most was when Meghan Trainor tried to have a secret meeting with her other managers to prevent a challenge from a contestant.  Meghan told her fellow managers, that the challenger is better than her favorite champions, and she didn't want a challenge b/c the champions would lose to the challenger.  I was shocked!

Isn't this show suppose to be about anyone can take your spot if you are not willing to give you best 100%?  Meghan argued that their champions aren't doing well today and had family issues or illnesses that are preventing them from performing at their best.  She said let's not give another contestant a shot b/c she likes the current champions.

Diddy looked at Meghan with a disgusted look, and he told the rest of the managers that the reason for the show is for you to have a competition.  Diddy stated if the champions cannot defend their spot, then they do not deserve the spot.  Meghan was in tears, and she said you know the female challenger will defeat their champions if its not fair to make them compete like this.  Diddy said in the real world and on a job, if you get sick and can't perform then you lose your job and no one will feel sorry for you.  In that moment, all the managers said let the challenger have a chance.  In a minute, the authorization changed the show.

The champion, Zhavia, went head to head with the challenger, Kendyle Paige.  The young champion, Zhavia was sick and she couldn't perform at 100% to defend herself.  The veteran champion, Kendyle took her Zhavia.  It was not even a fair competition.  All four judges awaited the results that Kendyle to won. The world watched as the Zhavia was defeated.  Social Media was in an uproar b/c Zhavia was dethroned. 

There was more controversy that Meghan Trainor tried to prevent the challenge, so that she can protect her favorite Zhavia.  In the real world, that would be nepotism or favoritism not allowing qualified talent to have a chance to have a career.  Diddy did a speech saying "if you deny that woman, Kendyle Paige, a chance to compete, then you are denying her a change to live and make a living for herself.  You better be damn sure you are ready to live with that guilt for not giving Kendyle an opportunity b/c Zhavia is your favorite."

A week later, Zhavia would come back to challenge for a spot in the Final Four.  Zhavia was healthy and gave her all.  She dethroned the young champion Tim Johnson to be named as a Final Four Finalist. Only one will walk away with a recording contract, but we all know who is the favorite here, Zhavia.

Also, Charlie Walk will not be apart of the Finale b/c he is under investigation for sexual harassment as part of the "Me Too" movement.  Seems Charlie Walk was trading sex for opportunities and contracts.  Charlie decided to prevent the controversy around him from effecting the show, so he decided to not attend the Finale...

Marvel's Black Panther Cast is Star Studded and Successful

I can't wait to see the Black Panther Movie coming out February 16, 2018.  The movie will align with the story line of Captain America Civil War.  King T'Challa returns home to Wakanda to take over the throne due to his father's death.  When T'Challa gets home he faces opposition and a challenge for the throne by powerful foes.  In order to take on the challengers, King T'Challa becomes the Black Panther.  This movie has me excited b/c of the cast.  Lupita Nyong'o is from Star Wars.  Michael B. Jordan is from Fantastic 4 and Creed.  Danai Gurira play Michonne on The Walking Dead.   My question is Michael B. Jordan plays Johnny Storm from the Fantastic 4, so how can he play as Erik Killmonger in the Black Panther?  I wonder if that's an indicator that the Fantastic 4 is not going to get a sequel?

What Happened to Alf?

Well I enjoyed Alf as a kid, but I vaguely remembered the show as I got older.  The last memory that I have is a military dude telling the Dad when he finds aliens they basically capture them, dissect aliens while still alive, torture for information about other aliens, and put the body parts in separate jars for future research.

Well the fate of Alf on the series finale was being captured by that military dude, and we were left with the idea that Alf indeed was captured and dissected while alive.  The show ended there. Here's what really happened.

Apparently a lot of things happened on the set of Alf.  About 20 years ago, Paul Fusco, Alf's puppeteer,  went on a rant using racial taboos, anti-feminist and full of antisemitism.  TMZ reached out to the show's producer and co-stars to confirm this happened, and it was confirmed by the producer Steve Lamar and John LaMotta (nosy neighbor Trevor Ochmonek).

John LaMotta stated "I thought the show Alf was a piece of shit ... worst work I ever did."

TMZ spoke with Steve Lamar -- associate producer on ALF for three years -- who tells us, "You're talking about 20 years ago when the world was not so ridiculously PC. Anyone that's offended needs to lighten up already."

This outburst by Fusco really made most on the set uncomfortable.  Some never worked with the show again.  This incident was the beginning of the end for Alf.

Later, network executives decided not to renew the show.  Alf's writers and producer's tried to force the networks hand, but writing an episode where the military warned Alf''s human family that they will torture and dissect Alf when he was found.  At the end of the season finale episode, Alf was captured by military and the audience was left to believe Alf was tortured to death and dissected.  Producers hoped the season finale cliff hanger action would cause a reaction by fan support and fans would demand the network executives to pay for another season for Alf.  Antisemitism, discrimination and NBC didn't mix well, so that was the end of Alf on the network.

There was a movie that came out two years years that gave a little more insight to the fate of Alf.  In the movie Alf escaped the military, and returned to his home planet.  This movie didn't air on a network or in a movie theater, and you had to find it somewhere in the dollar bin to know it existed.

There's you conclusion folks.  There was a lot more unconfirmed information that I found online about the show and incidents that happened but no proof.  It was a sad end to a hit show.

Who is John Madden and Why does he have a Video Game?

All I know about John Madden is that he has a video game, and he makes slick statements on why throw the ball short of the first down when you needed the first down to keep the drive going (you have to play the early Madden games to get that reference). So, I always wondered why did John Madden have a video game?

To answer the question we have to start at the beginning of John Madden's professional career.  Few people know that John Madden was a great football player in high school and college.   While in college, Madden won all conference honors as an offensive tackle.  In 1958, John Madden was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 21st round (244 overall).  During training camp, Madden had a knee injury and never gained a chance to play professional in the NFL.  Unable to perform physically, Madden was useless to the NFL and his professional career as a player was over before it got started.

Despite being unable to be a worker in the field, John Madden had a plan that would help him continue his professional football career as a leader on the sidelines.  Madden said, "I got hurt in my rookie year with the Philadelphia Eagles - a knee injury - and I couldn't play.  While I was rehabbing, Norm Van Brocklin would be watching films and would explain what was happening.  I ended up with a degree in teaching, and my love for football meshed with teaching."

Professional success was not instant for John Madden.  In 1960, Madden became assistant coach for the Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria.  He was promoted to head in 1962.  After spending 6 years coaching college, Madden got his football in the door of the NFL again.

In 1967, John Madden became the Linebackers coach for the Oakland Raiders.  During that year the Raiders reached the Super Bowl.  After John Rauch resigned from Raiders head coach spot to take the head coach position with the Buffalo Bills, Madden was named the head coach of the Raiders. In 1969, John Madden became the youngest head in the history of the Raiders at 32. In his first season, Madden lead the team to a 12-101 record.

As the Raider's head coach, John reached the AFC championship game 5 out 7.  After losing to the legendary undefeated Dolphins of 1972 and being on the defeated side of the last minute "immaculate reception", Madden gained his first Super Bowl championship in 1976 against the Minnesota Vikings.

After winning the Super in 1976, the Raiders would lose the AFC championship in 1977 and fail to make the playoffs in 1978.  After 10 years, John Madden decided to retire.  Madden would retire as the most winning head coach in NFL history and youngest coach to gain 100 wins.  Madden also never had a losing season as a head coach.

After retiring, John Madden spent his time from 1979 to 2008 as NFL analyst and commentator.  Madden would later turn his analyst skills to new venture known as video games.  In 1988, the first Madden video was created.  When asked why did Madden lend his voice, personality, and name Madden said he views the video games as an educational tool for teaching and testing plays.  in 2012, Madden stated "a way for people to learn the game and participate in the game at a pretty sophisticated level".

And there you have it.  The reason there is a Madden game is b/c Madden was a fan of the sport that had great skills at developing talent and coaching that talent to the most victories in NFL history.  In a way Madden is like video gamers b/c he never played the game professionally but he knows about players and tools to lead to success.  May one day we will see a Madden player become a coach one day.

My take away from studying John Madden's career is that when one door closes, there is always hope another will open by using your knowledge to win and succeed.
