Fallout 4 Lore: Morse code Lockhart meets Survivor 2299

Last time Vault 119 was cleared out by 3 suspicious androids linked to a nearby building called The Institute.

Updates from December 4, 2013
ZYX 5625478+7878- HVCD AYX XOTF LFG IVL EGIBDYU CD RZWVI? UJY'H VOSC FW SFP' GS POCVK KYVI L UWX IVYGLV. XZAG YU, DHNY PJFF CCZ! ZM'K NZHP HQ QV. NAWLV OSS HEJB RGO TVXS HBVD?

[regular order] "What the fuck are you looking at kiddo? Don't tell me you've never seen a gun before.  Come on, move you ass! It's time to go. Where the fuck you came from?"

5625478+7878 is a cipher key that is essential to deciphering the rest of the message.  Let's look at the first part.  By typing 5625478+7878 on a phone key pad you get the letters LOCKHRTSURV.  Using the key the rest of the message can be translated.  Lock at ZYX.  They are in the last three letters of the alphabet but backwards.  This is an indicator for you to translate the coded message backwards.

[reversed order] "Where the fuck you came from? It's time to go. Come on, move your ass!  Don't tell me you've never seen a gun before.  What the fuck are you looking at kiddo?"

The question now is who are the subjects in the conversation?  The answer comes from the key 5625478+7878 which spell out LOCKHRTSURV.  The '+' separates LOCKHRT + SURV as though they are two separate entities.  My theory is that the key itself is a small message telling us the subjects are Desmond Lockhart and Survivor 2299 with Lockhart nagging at the inexperience of Survivor 2299 like a level 1 character.  This setups that Survivor 2299 might be the character you'll be able to customize and level up as you play though the game.  Also, this establishes that Lockhart will play a key role in mentoring Survivor 2299 as he/she learns the skills necessary to adapt to the wasteland.

Fall Out 4: Last Morse Codes and more Lore

In the last Morse code broadcast, 899 survivors were killed by unknown attackers. The sole survivor, known as survivor 2299, contacted Black Row for rescue.  In this broadcast, the focus was shifted to Morse code transmitted to the HQ of Black Row by a rescuer.

December 3, 2013
"Calling Black Row Outstation. Reporting suspicious activity near secure location: The Institute...
-One visual threat detected.  Two, no three unknown humanoids, 3 miles northwest, over.
-One vault dweller 2 miles north; three unknown humans 3 miles northwest, over."

Internet lore has stated that Black Row is an authority that governs the area following the nuclear fallout.
Most likely in this message, a black row rescue has visited and investigate vault 119 and is reporting 3 humans that were seen in the area following the attack.  More significant context to the situation at hand was transmitted in the next message.

"Calling Black Row, Calling Black Row.  Report: day seven, on Harvard Bridge.  People are scared; last night we heard strange noise from The Institute. At the moment we see strange humans distance 2 miles north.  Something isn't right with that place, over."

The plot thickens.  Little is known about The Institute other than it produces powerful AI, and people nearby are scared of The Institute's unknown capabilities.

The Harvard bridge is a real life landmark that links Cambridge, Massachusetts with Boston, Massachusetts and if you continue on the bridge, then you'll reach MIT.  The Harvard bridge is locally known as the MIT bridge.  This latest transmission shows, whoever is running the survivor 2299 site has put some thought into the story and a clearer picture is unfolding on how all this information relates to Fallout 4.

Fallout 4: Boston Under Attack Teaser and Lore

The following Morse code messages have been transmitted  by survivor 2299

December 1, 2013
"Calling all stations, this is Vault Overseer 119, anyone near Quabbin? SOS Vault door breach, repeat, SOS Vault door breach, enemy unknown, level 1, 2, and 3 gone, survivors on ("service lift?" or "sealed?" or  "secure location?") level 4."

From this we understand that following the nuclear attacks, an unknown force breach vault 119 and destroyed levels 1-3.  The surviving survivors are on the run and making a final stand on level 4.  It is speculated the the message was broadcast near or after the Great War which caused radiation that resulted in the super mutants and deform creatures in the Lore of Fallout.

December 2, 2013
"Calling all stations, this is Vault 119, SOS, Level 4 is under attack, Overseer is dead, repeat, SOS, Level 4 is under attack, Overseer is dead. ( We want Mark I? We won't make it?)"

It is not clear whether the last part means Mark I or Make it.  Regardless, the situation seems desperate.

"Calling (BR=Black Row?) OTST= (On the site?); ground is safe. Too late, level 4 breach.  No survivors, 899 corpses. We are leaving Vault 119. Over, back to you."

To me, the most shocked part was not the 899 corpses.  The "over, back to you" means survivor 2299 is communicating with someone named Black Row.  The message says there are "no survivors" and "we are leaving vault 119".  Is this just poor use of grammar because it makes no sense.

Black Row = Black Arrow Way in Massachusetts.

Final Message
SY684> OVERRIDING PROTOCOL VT- 15812 WITH KEY "7667"

Turns out that 7667 is a code or key that must be entered on another site, but I didn't trust it.  It took me 2 months to fix my computer, so I am just sticking with my online sources for the feeds.

If you go to the site and enter the code, then another message comes up
"UNKNOWN ENEMY DETECTED" flashes in red

We still are in the dark about who is the enemy.  Another hidden message is reveal by hitting [Ctrl]+ A
Once the entire page is highlighted another coded message is revealed but coded.  The code translates to:

"They don't know what's coming.  It's a key to the great game."

The message could have two meanings. First, Desmond Lockhart, a Fallout 3 character stationed at Point Lookout, mentioned he was traveling Northeast to pursue a "Great Game" of geniuses and billionaires. Second, the message could be breaking the 4th wall.  We as the players do not know what is coming.

There is a lot of information and blanks that need to be filled in.  Regardless, seems like an interesting way to start a Fallout game.  899 dead, 1 survivor, help allegedly on the way but never comes with the new destination as Black Row.

Fallout 4 The Survivor 2299: Hidden Messages

For the past week, someone has broadcast Morse Code named Survivor 2299.  This code is linked to information related to the release of Fallout 4.  The credibility of this information is that both Bethesda and survivor 2299 are hosted by Engine X. 2299 is 22 years after the nuclear war of Fallout 3

1st Morse code message:
CQ/CQ/CQ/DE/OZ/PSE/AS

CQ/CQ/CQ/DE/##/K
CQ= Calling any station, Seek you
DE= This is
##= Station ID, OZ
K= Please stand by

Calling any station, Calling any station, this is OZ Oscar Zulu
OZ is a station that is listed in Fallout War

Also if you inspect the html of the website you will find that the audio file that is playing is labeled as Broken-Harvard-Bridge-529e38ca8b92b.mp3

the broken Harvard bridge is a name for a bridge located in Massachusetts src=" / radio / bridgeport - 5284ec0d1b93c . mp3" autoplay loop>
...and Bridgeport is also a place in Connecticut

Over the course of a week different messages randomly appeared in Morse Code on the site. I provided all the translations. It is hard to say what the messages meant with so little context, who or what wrote the messages. I say what because of the DLC's there was a laboratory with androids that were programming to think they were human like Harkness A3-21.
