GTA V DLC: Low Riders

Rockstar Newswire
confirmed new downloadable content for GTA V to expand upon the game’s online multiplayer mode. Like all add-ons released thus far, the developer is adding additional features specifically to GTA Online through a free title update.

Grand Theft Auto Online Lowriders

The upcoming update will add a new vehicle modification shop to GTA Online that specializes in transforming cars into fully decked-out lowriders. These new customization options give users the ability to personalize six different vehicles with several new interior choices for upholstery, dashboard dials, and shift levers.

For gamers that aren’t into lowriders, the next GTA V DLC will also include a few other features that aren’t tied to the new vehicles customization options. Actually adding some new activities, the new update includes several new co-op missions to Grand Theft Auto Online. Adding to the existing contacts, players can get the new missions from Lamar.

Hate to end on a sour note but the DLC is only available for PC and  new generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox one.  Rockstar states the reason that they didn't develop a low rider dlc the other consoles was due to memory space issues they may occur.

Grand Theft Auto V: Game of the Decade

If you're all about failed hollywood dreams, dsyfunctional families, and delusion of grandeur, then you will love Grand Theft Auto 5.

Rockstar games really put some thought into the story and effort into developing the gameplay of GTA 5. The main story centers around ex-master thief named Micheal Townley, and his effort to stay out of trouble. Micheal lives a low key life in the witness protection program for nine years, then the bad habits of his dysfunctional family puts him dead center in a car robbery by the second playable character Franklin Clinton.

Franklin is a young car thief full of hollywood success overnight dreams but no real plans. Micheal mentors Franklin into the son he never had.  Franklin and Micheal go on some wild adventures that lead to the reunion of Micheal and his old crime buddy  and third playable character,Trevor Philips.  Trevor is mentally unstable hillbilly that has delusions of grandeur on who he is power and status wise.  Eventually you have control over all three characters as the commit crimes together to the delight of fans.

The game mechanics of GTA V are pioneering.  Being able to switch between all three playable characters and making use of their special abilities is key to success in the game.  But you can't stop there with what GTA V offers gamers. The biggest selling point is that GTA V is a massive game with full range of exploration.  Any vehicle from bikes to 711 jets are to your disposal. You can fly into space and use submarines to dive 10,000 leagues under the sea.

I don't want to give too much away, but alot of easter eggs, lore, cults, allusion to previous GTA and other Rockstar games and famous movies find their way into GTA V.  The interaction with storyline and gameplay is flawless.  Rather you're drive at 99mph in a car chase with explosions happening all around you or flying over the city and having a gunbattle with the airforce, developers really put effort into the thrill factor of the game.

Some improvements to the game are powerful weapons like rocketlauchers, apache helicopters, sailboats, tri-athelons, parachuting, female cops, pets, huntable wildlife, bigfoot, sharks, rampage missions.  A few surprising additions are full frontal nudity, graphic sex scenes, and drinking until you pass out.

Grand Theft Auto V is an experience more than a game.  It has a few bugs, but it's a perfect effort for the last high budget games on this generation of consoles.  GTA V is the best game you'll ever play on this generation of consoles, and I give it a 10/10.  Finally a game done right.

Interview with Grand Theft Auto and Homefront Actress: Hannah Cabell

I caught up with one of my favorite actresses, Hannah Cabell.  Those of you who recently played the game 'Homefront' will recognize her as the empowering voice of Rianna.  Here is what Hannah had to say about being a voice over actress in the video game industry.

How did you get your first SAG/AFTRA voice acting job for video games?

Hannah: I have actually only worked under AFTRA contracts for video games - I don't know if it's a recent change, but in my experience AFTRA handles more of the interactive media side of the business. My first job was for 'Grand Theft Auto - The Ballad of Gay Tony'. I got that from an audition; Rock Star had me in for both vo and motion capture, but ended up hiring me just for the vo part of it.
