The Legend Zelda Ocarina of Time N64 Review

I don't believe the internet was around when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was released for the N64, so I'm going to review one of the greatest games of all-time.

For any gamer over 20, this was the game to play in our generation.   The game was one of the first 3d action adventure platforms mixed with rpg and puzzle solving elements.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a true coming of age story for the protagonist Link set in the world of Hyrule. As Link you learn your destiny, travel back and forth through time itself which for its time was the first game to have the effects of what you do in the past affecting the outcome in the future, save princess Zelda from the evil Ganondolf, and save the world.
The graphics for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timein 1998, and for 5 years until the next generation of consoles emerged were the best ever.  Reflections and swimming fish in lakes, shadows on walls, and facial expressions in game were never done on any game before then. Perfection

The sound was unmatchable.  In a era where sound for walking in most games like Wild Arms were limited to a drum beat, Zelda pioneered to unprecedented levels and made the competiton step up there after.

The gameplay is unmatched.  Most of what was done in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timeis still copied today.  Boomerangs, bow and arrow, aiming, use of water and items, blocking combat, riding a horse and using a bow and arrow, fishing with a reel etc...the list could go on and on.  There was nothing like this, and still to this day no game has created so much that was there before.

Overall, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the few games every reviewer will give a perfect score.  This game is amazing.  Developers really went the extra mile and created a work of art that will live in the hearts of all who play.  I give Zelda Ocarina of Time a perfect 10 out 10.  It's legend status.
