Tom Clancy's Division - April 12, 2018 - Save the Date!

Agents!

I'm happy to announce that Update 1.8.1 is launching across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 12th! Players can expect two new Legendary mission modes for Amherst’s Apartment and Grand Central Station alongside the following Xbox One X patch enhancements:
  • 4K rendering
  • Higher anisotropy
  • Improved reflections
  • Improved object detail
  • Improved screen-space shadows

Two brand new Global Events are coming to The Division: Blackout in April and Onslaught in May.
Global Event Blackout—Agents are equipped with Shock Ammo that stuns enemies. Shooting or running builds your charge meter. The more charge, the more damage you inflict.
Global Event Onslaught—Agents deal burn, bleed, and gas effects to enemies in addition to normal damage. Reloading changes the effect.

In addition, the new Classified acquisition changes will be live with 1.8.1. Here is a short recap for everyone who missed the news. Players can refer to the 1.8.1 Patch Notes soon for a full list of changes.

Vendor Changes
  • Added a Classified Gear cache to the Special Vendor that guarantees 1 Classified Gear piece from the entire pool.

Global Events Vendor
  • Removed the basic cache from the vendor.
  • Each Global Event will now have individual caches per Classified Gear set for that Global Event. This allows the player to purchase, for example, a Fire Crest cache that guarantees one item from that set.

Exotic Loot drops
  • Removed Premium Vendor Exotics from Open World loot pool and Exotic Caches.
  • All Exotics added to the Open World Bosses.
  • Classified Gear Drop Rates
  • Classified Drop Rates chances have been increased in all locations.
  • Legendary Missions now have a 20% chance to give Classified Gear as a reward at the completion of the mission.
  • Season Pass Supply Drops now have a 10% chance to drop Classified Gear.
  • Survival Caches now have a roughly 10% chance to drop Classified Gear.

Head over to the Official Forums to engage in the conversations and leave us some feedback. We will see everyone on the streets of New York!

Stardew Valley 1.3 Update Features Confirmation News!

For those of you who didn't know, I love Stardew Valley.  I have 100s of videos on YouTube at jetrecords226.  There is great news coming for long term players of the game.  There is a new 1.3 patch update.  Listed below are all the updates straight from the developers mouth, Concernedape.

Multiplayer

Shortly after you begin the game, Robin will offer to build up to 3 cabins on your farm. Each cabin will house a farmhand, controlled by one of your friends.

Farmhands can do almost anything the main player can do. They can farm, mine, fight, fish, forage, marry NPCs and take part in festivals. Each player has their own inventory. When a farmhand is not connected, their inventory can be managed through a chest in their cabin.

Certain decisions can be made only by the main player: when to sleep, when to start and end festivals, and whether to side with Joja, for instance.

You won’t need to set up a server to run multiplayer. Friends can be invited onto the farm through Steam. The invite mechanism for non-Steam versions is TBD, but likely to be similar in most cases.

A lot of players have requested player-to-player marriage. It’s an idea we like a lot, and want to make available as a feature. Player-to-player marriage won’t use the mermaid pendant, but rather an alternative method that requires a similar amount of effort to wooing an NPC. We’re still working out what that will be.

Local multiplayer, split-screen and PVP are not planned at this point.

Other Rumored Features

It's confirmed that all updates will come to PC first then to console later.  The expected timeline for the update is confirmed to be Spring 2018, so any time between March and May.  There will be a boat in the game.  It's not confirmed on what the boat will do.  Some speculate that the boat will take you to a new area like the bus, some say the boat will be a new vendor like the cart lady in the woods.  Either way it will be a new addition to the game that promises more new content.

There will be new community events and achievements with NPC.  There is a confirmed new event for Winter so far.  There are not any specifics on what it is or related to.

I touched base earlier with the Multiplayer features.  There will be an option to marry you multiplayer friends, and goals to complete in order to woo them like the difficult NPC's.

There are new decorations and signs that will be added to the game from the beginning, and you will not have to unlock.

The Division - New Global Event In March 2018 - Live Streaming at Twitch.tv/jetrecords

Massive Entertainment has announced the for the entire month of March 2018, it will do Global Events for Tom Clancy's The Division.  The first Global Event starts on March 1, 2018 and it is called Outbreak Part 1.  The coolest fact about global events is this is your only opportunity to get more exotic loot and gear for free.  The best weapons and equipment await those that play the game well and accept the challenge.  I'm live streaming at 3 PM on March 1, 2018.  Below is the timeline for other Global Events happening in March:

The first event should be Outbreak, starting tomorrow - 01 March 2018 and will be concluding on 05 March 2018. The Assault event should be running from 08 to 12 March 2018, while Strike is scheduled for 15 to 19 March 2018 and Ambush kicks-off on 22 March and concludes on 26 March 2018.
In case you have missed out on masks from one of the previous events like I did, this will be your chance to grab them. You will also be able to complete your classified sets, with your best chances being whenever the corresponding Global Event occurs.

For example the Assault global event will reward Striker, Sentry's Call and Reclaimer classified sets. While this event's masks aren't highly sought after, its classified gear certainly is.
The Strike global event will award Banshee, Predator, FNC and Nomad sets, with Ambush yielding Alpha Bridge, Hunter's Faith, Firecrest and Tactician's Authority sets.
Details for each Global Event and its drops can be found on The Division's website
