DragonBall Z: Revival Of 'F' (2015)

For those of you who are like me and didn't know...There is a new Dragonball Z movie coming out entitled "Dragonball Z: Revivial of F".

The new villain will be a fan favorite: Frieza.  From the trailer we see Frieza has been revived and stronger than ever.  The movie will take place after the Buu saga and following Goku's ability to transform into God Super Saiyan.

A brief trailer was released with some screen shots, and we can see Beerus is with the Z gang,  Each Z fighter has (Bills) Beerus or Whiss, the God of Destruction, symbol. So, we know that each Z fighter is trained and stronger.  The only questions I have are: who revived Frieza and why is he stronger than the Z fighters?

Attack on Titan Live Action

Anime network revealed Attack on Titan will join the ranks of popular anime that want to go to the big screen with a real cast.

The cast for the Shingeki no Kyojin Live Action Movie has been revealed. The movie will incorporate familiar and new characters as well as familar and new aspects to the Shingeki no Kyojin world. Characters that have been confirmed for being in the movie are Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Sasha, and Hanji. The rest of the cast will play as new characters. 

Eren will be played by Miura Haruma. 

Mikasa will be played by Kiko Mizuhara.

Armin will be played by Hongo Kanata.

Jean will be played by Takahiro Miura

Sasha will be played by Sakuraba Nanami. 

Hanji will be played by Satomi Ishihara. 

The expectation for a debut is summer 2015

Luther returns to BBC

It’s official. Luther will return to BBC America in 2015!

Golden Globe®-winning and Emmy-nominated Idris Elba makes a welcome return to BBC AMERICA in 2015 to reprise his role of DCI John Luther, the murder detective whose brilliant mind can’t always save him from the dangerous violence of his passions.

The highly acclaimed London set crime mini-series is written and created by award-winning and Emmy-nominated writer Neil Cross. Luther is made by BBC Drama Production, co-produced with BBC AMERICA.

When asked about the much anticipated return of the hugely popular show, Cross said: “Ever since we said goodbye to John Luther on Southwark Bridge, there’s hardly been a minute when I didn’t wonder what happened next. So I decided to find out. We’re putting the band back together; Luther is coming back where he belongs. Back to the BBC. Back to London. And back to work.”

Lutherwill return as a 2 x 60 event special and will film in and around London in March and will premiere later next year on BBC AMERICA.

Legend of Korra Returns to Television

"Give it time and all good will return."

Legend of Korra will return to television on Nickelodeon November 28, 2014.  

The show went off air for season 4, but episodes were viewable online.  Due to fan support and the social media, the Legend of Korra has come back to television.  

Sometimes you have to fall to rise again.

It's finally over Naruto 700 the end of the series

Dry your eyes because the end was beautiful for Naruto.  

Turns out the pics from my last post weren't leaked photos from the The Last Naruto movie, the photos came from the final chapter of Naruto.  Naruto 700. 

We got to see some final wrap ups for the characters that survived the war and glimpses of the new generation of leaf village.  

I feel like it's not over but just goodbye for now.  We finally got to see what we all waited for, the couples: 

Naruto and Hinata

Sakura and Sasake 

Shikamaru and Temari

Rock Lee and Tenten

I like how the final chapter was dedicated to showing the torch being passed to the next generation.

Kakashi become the 6th hokage and Naruto becomes the 7th hokage as promised. Even in the final chapter we never see what Kakashi looks like under the mask.

The next gens of global hokaged should look familiar to you as well. 

One piece did it's reference to Naruto, and Naruto reference One piece back in a way to pass the torch I hope.  It's teats and touching moments everywhere in the anime community.  

In the end the misfit became the hero and saved the village.  Not only did naruto saved the village he saved and because many thought when Dragonballs z ended no show would be as popular.  We who would have guessed a story about a demon fox would last 15 years. 

Leaked photos from "The Last Naruto Movie"

The internet is going crazy because legit pictures from the last Naruto Movie.  The pictures are legit and a formal apology was released for the leak photos!  

The images show older naruto and hinata with their children, Guy with broke legs bc he unleashed the 8 gates in the 3rd great ninja war, older sasuke missing an arm and more.

Here is a sneak peak at the main villain and a version of hokage Kakashi. Also, I'm back!

Broken Age Review

Broken Age came via recommendation from some of my fellow gamers due to its witty commentary and innovative puzzle solving and is one of the few video games that features a black female as the lead and focal point of the story-line.

Broken Age is an episodic point click adventure game made by Double Fine Productions. Broken Age's plot involves two teenagers: Vella (left) who is to be sacrificed to protect her home village from a giant monster, and Shay (right) who appears to be the only passenger on a spacecraft monitored by an overly motherly computer. The game's art has been praised, and called "lush and gorgeous, with the feel of an interactive children’s storybook".

The game is as basic as it gets gameplay wise, but what makes the game stand out the most is the voice acting.  The lead characters of Shay and Vella give hilarious yet witty remarks when you fail at solving puzzles or repeat unnecessary steps often. Shay's voice actor is Elijah Wood, and Vella's voice actress is Masasa Moyo.  

I really enjoyed how Broken Age was thought provoking and how it made players question what is right or wrong, what do you know about sacrifice, reality vs comforting lies, feminism, overprotective parenting, and other topics you have to play to find out. 

I mean Vella's storyline alone is worth a play-through. I laughed out of my chair at how Vella tried to point out that her fate is being a sacrificial maiden that must be eaten by a monster for the greater good of the community and no one wants to fight for her life.  

The company really struggled to raise money to get a budget together to make the game, therefore development for Broken Age was episodic.  Fortunately, Act 1 sales were sufficient enough to progress with a project to have Act 2 developed but no date for a release has been given. 

Overall, I will join my peers and give Broken Age a well deserve 9.0/10.  Broken age is a great game that really makes you think to solve puzzles, addresses social stigmas and issues, adolescent fears and expectations, and crosses boundaries.
