Left 4 Dead 2′s ‘Cold Steam’ DLC pack will be released later this month

Valve has not yet announced all the details of the DLC pack, teasing that it will offer “some surprises”. However, we do know that the expansion will add six brand new maps to the game — Cold Stream, Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, Death Toll and No Mercy.

“The date will be July 24th. There are some other surprises and details we will give you later but for now we just want to confirm an often requested feature,” said Valve in a blog post.
“With the update going out at the same time (also for the PC), all of the mutations will be available at all times. This will allow players to choose to match into games playing Taannkk!, Gib Fest, or even a user created mutation like Confogl”, the publisher added.
Left 4 Dead 2′s ‘Cold Steam’ DLC is due to drop for Mac, PC and Xbox 360 on July 24
