Yes I read your comments and emails. I did not take into consideration how the Mass Effect 3 evolved from a slow paced fixed shooter to a more full develop 3rd person action shooter.
ME 3 did change alot over the course of its 2 year development. Some improvements in the melee combat as well as ease of moment with the characters and challenges by the enemies have to be factored into a complete review. For that I will add an extra 4 points for gameplay and design alone.
ME 3 story is where its has a fatal weakness. A lot of hype and poor deliver plus bad ending is where the game spirals out of control. I feel it got caught up in the factor of over coming past grudges and open minded sexual orientation, and ME 3 lost grasp of its own triology.
Many elements that were rumored and emphasized to conclude in the final game were not included, and that's where it lost major points with me. I felt the Bioware had poor execution on story and concepts all over the place with no continuity.

**Note** Electronic Arts if you kept putting out let downs like Dragon Age 2, ME 3, and Dead Space 2, consumers will stop buying your games because they're not getting investment worth their money in a tough economy. After taxes that was near $70 dollars each x3=$210 on games that I felt were worse then $5 indy games i played on xbox arcade.
