Claymore: Teresa vs Priscilla

Quite a battle on claymore. Teresa vs Priscilla. Teresa was always aware of that Irene, Noel, and Sophia were after her #1 title for years, but Priscilla a new number #2 came by order of the organization for it.  Young and naive she upheld the beliefs of the organization without question, but never knew the world had unexpect factors that would cause doubt. Almost cult like loyalty to the organization, Priscilla couldn't understand doubt when Teresa broke the news to her.

Self-righteous and ironclad in her beliefs Priscilla got shaken in Teresa's mind game.  So to all you who said Teresa was stronger bc she only used 10% of her power to defeat 80% of the young Priscilla, you were wrong. In a battle of channeling chi, if you lose your mind, then you can't control your flow of energy.  Thus take someone mentally out the game, then she will be unable to fight you at full strength. It's an old tactic, but a useful one used by older fighters.

Some will know what plagues you the most and cause you to face it while challenging them at the same time.  Priscilla being young deathslayer, she did what she did bc she thought it was the right thing to do and too young to understand the difference. As a veteran Irene, Sophia, Teresa, and Noel knew exactly that the beast they haunt were evil created by the organization and used the deathslayers to clean up their mistake.  Priscilla only thought the beast were evil created by the Devil, and she was ridding the world of it and making it a better place to live in.  Proverbs 24:1 commited to standing with good to defeat evil.

Once Teresa broke the news to Priscilla she mentally broke, and couldnt control herself.  Facing the fact she was used to do evil by people who hide the sin with words of good, she lost herself and that's what lost the fight.  Priscilla fought to uphold the truth of what she believed, and to lose to Teresa meant she lost her beliefs.  She got caught up in the this world by the false ones.  It's a very serious thing bc she was one of God's elect with superpowers, but she got manipulated to fight on the wrong side.

Teresa tried to retire and start a family with an adopted girl to make up for her sins, but the organization didn't want her out there to take the chance of her spreading the word that what the organization preached was a false belief to control the masses, but keep the order they created in tact.  Sophia, Noel, and Irene accepted their sins and only lived to be the best so offing Teresa meant nothing to them.  Sophia and Noel were not as skill as Irene and Teresa, but they hid their true intelligence behind their jealously.  They played ignorant to wait for the chance that Teresa and Irene would get rid of eachother.  Intriguing.  Lesson: some aren't as dumb as you think they are.

Irene, Sophia, and Noel shake their head at Priscilla's false confidence bc they know no one can defeat Teresa one on one. Teresa even laughs at it, bc she's seen 100s of challengers do the same, and toys with her. She slowly gives Priscilla a glamour of hope to challenge her, but in reality she knows that she is no match indeed. When she hears her daughter come to the battlefield, Teresa stops toying with Priscilla because that is what she wants to protect.

Quickly Teresa raises her power and defeats Priscilla effortlessly.  She debates on killing Priscilla to prevent further battles, but looks at Priscilla's shaken beliefs then decides the mess she created by doubt is going to take years to shake and decades to restore any confidence that will allow her to challenge again.  Priscilla once filled with self righteousness is now filled with hate and jealously.  2 Corithians 11:1-7 committed and jealous to the 1.

Priscilla power is stripped. She is mentally broken.  Thus Irene, comes in to save her and restore her with a temporarily resolve to get over the truth and fight to exist not to uphold the lies.  Priscilla is mentally gone at this point but she keeps an effort up to at least defeat Teresa.  Ultimately all 4 lose against Teresa and she walks away.

Looking at the Episode. Irene was the first of 3 familar faces to battle her. Irene is an old foe of Teresa, but knows she is no match for her 1 on 1. Confident in the fact she could use the naiveness of Priscilla to her advantage she takes the first strike, but quickly loses to allow Priscilla a chance to get a sneak attack in. Priscilla, still honorable does not attack. Instead she is confident she can defeat Teresa 1 on 1, honorably, and upheld the beliefs she was raise to have.

Veteran vs a rookie.  I only wonder what Priscilla would have become had she had the time to gain the experience of Teresa.  Well, the organization rolled the dice on utilizing her potential too soon and everyone lost in the end.   Priscilla fully understood what Teresa said after she turned into one of the demons she haunted down, thus becoming a living example of the corruption.  It was sad bc the whole time she questioned what was happening to her.

Teresa showed some compassion, but knew there was no turning back.  Turning Point: The mission to get rid of Teresa became a mission to get rid of the new demon Priscilla.  Irene, Noel, and Sophia. the allies Piscilla thought she newly made, soon turned a sword to her and tried to kill her.  Fighting as a demon she questioned them, why are they doing this to her, their friend? Then came to a resolve she understood they just were using her to get at Teresa and the organization used her to get rid of the other demons like herself, and what she will do to others as a demon later.  Powerful indeed.
