Microsoft Doing a McCarthyism Banning of Random Xbox 360s

Shockwaves have been sent through the Xbox 360 owners community since Sept 5, 2011 due to a random banning of the Xbox 360 console by Microsoft with McCarthyism like accusations and no proof that wrongful acts have been commited by the consumer.

The immediate reaction when people hear about microsoft banning a xbox 360 accounts is centered around complaints that a XBLA user has been using homophobic or racial slurring and excessive cursing on xbox live, but this time microsoft has randomly come at users consoles not accounts.

XBLA consumers are suffering from McCarthyism like senarios where their xbox comes on, and a message appears that says 'This console has been banned due to violations of Terms of Use' which blacklist them and prevents consumers from using their xbox 360 ever again. This action is usually reserved for those who have modified their xbox, so when users call to seek information about why their xbox was banned all Microsoft customer reiterates the error message and says 'your console was banned for violations of terms of use and there is not anything you can do about it.'  Microsoft PR is tight lipped about this issue that already has begun virually affecting the xbox community worldwide. To see why your xbox may be banned continue reading...

Xbox.com/forums users have speculated that Microsoft is implimenting a new strategy similar to the "Red Ring of Death" that destroys the system and forces consumers to buy a new console. Some xbox.com/forum pundits are linking the ban to downloading the new call of duty black ops zombie map.  Apparently they're banning the consoles for marketplace theft. Stuff like code generators and getting XBLA stuff for free. Even if users did not mod or Microsoft have errored again but will not fix it because so few users are complaining about the issue. Funny thing is, Microsoft claim to have irrefutable evidence for each claim and review it thoroughly before they ban a 360, but they do not discuss individual cases and a console ban is irreversible.

This is horrible people should not have accounts/xboxs banned for playing fair and not doing anything wrong. Microsoft should fix it (not saying they are doing this on purpose. If they are banning console without a reason, then that is very wrong of a huge corporation to treat their customers badly for buying their product). If you are a victim of the banning or know someone, then feel free to comment or post your opinion about this.
