Uncharted 4: Game of the Year by Far

"Whoa...look at that. There's your treasure.  Goddamn, was it worth it?"
"Everyone obsessed with this treasure, gets what they deserve"

I had to admit Uncharted 3 developers really disappointed with its artistic approach, but Uncharted 4 respected the process and made a high quality game. I mean this game brought it!  You even can play the PS1 classic game, Crash Bandicoot. Uncharted 4 really got in depth the with the story revolving around trust, family, mercenaries, and treasure hunting.

Uncharted 4 focused on Drake learning his choices had an effect on others or questioned what he really was doing with his life, and why.  For Drake, the path of a treasure hunter, gaining wealth and fame had been shadowed by a rich benefactor who believed his lack of success was because of Drake's acts and double dealing.

Come on Legend!
The game-play matches the story-line from prison brawls with racist gang members to sword fights with ivy league pricks that think the world revolves around their money and philanthropy. Underneath all the bravado, Nathan Drake's enemies were sad little haters with delusion of grandeur.

I really felt in touch with Drake.  In Uncharted 4, Drake is an innocent man that gets in over his head a lot!  In this game, we get to see Drake's brother Sam, who is the man that got Drake involved with treasure hunting and thrill seeking.  We see a genuine brotherly love with Drake and Sam, as we discover Drake was trying his hardest to impress and be like his brother who he had to leave behind.

I'm in it for the Real Thing Sister
The focus of this Uncharted 4 centers around a strange feeling of emptiness from hunting treasure. There is a lot of life lessons to be learned.  Sometimes you have to choose between what you want to keep and let go.  This game brought out all the game changer necessities to set it apart from what else is on the market for 2016.  Uncharted 4 is full of innovation for a platformer from driving through the streets of Brazil in a car chase to boat races in South America.  You literally travel the world, get emerged in different cultures and art while learning history and discovering the value others have in their relics or treasure.  I'm hooked on it.

Land a Contract or Something?
This game is one big adrenaline rush to the other compared to a normal life with a family and love. Nathan Drake and Elena's romance is full on but it's not enough to stop Drake from his bad habits. Taking contracts is the focus of the game mixed with a legit hatred from a past murder and betrayal that must be resolved.

Was it worth it?
What happened to living a normal life?  I live Vicariously through Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4. Elena words "just say the word, and I will call everything off" really made me feel guilt and realize nothing worth while was easy.  I love this game.  The game play is unbelievable and the storyline kept me on the edge of my seat.  I give Uncharted 4 at 10 out of 10.
