Borderlands 2 Review, is it all Hype?

Borderlands 2 is the most anticipated game release for this quarter and for everyone that was worried...HELL YEAH it's a good game.

Borderlands 2 picks up 5 years after the vault has been opened on Pandora.  You are a vault hunter that comes seeking treasure and immediately greeted with resistance from the antagonist Handsome Jack running Hyperion.  Teaming up with a claptrap the speaks its mind too much you journey meeting new and familiar characters like Scooter, Dr. Ned, Marcus, and Tannis.

Borderlands 2 has been overhauled with new weapons, vehicles, guns, enemies, locations and 30 hours of storyline quest missions.  Borderlands 2 is an improvement from the original borderlands all around.

Co-op is a must but you can make it on your own.  Like the first game there are repeative missions and enemies that make the game stall, but if your a fan this won't bother you.  It's not a perfect game, and you will see a floating enemy or water hazard of death b/c you can't swim, so I give Borderlands 2  an 8.5/10.

  1. I got my first opportunity to see the demo played at a co-worker’s house from DISH yesterday and noticed that it’s very refreshing to play a shooter that isn’t Call of Duty with the same narrative point. Borderlands is absolutely fantastic, it’s definitely a strong contender for game of the year. I was sold after watching the first fifteen minutes, so I put it in my Blockbuster@Home queue. Blockbuster@Home I believe is the most economical way to rent games and it even comes with a free trial! I can’t wait to start playing the game at home myself, it looks and plays awesome.
